Rockin' Moms Presents; 2nd Annual, Rockin' The Park Music Festival
Los Gatos, CA (PRWEB) September 1, 2007 -- Rockin' Moms presents, Rockin' the Park, a music festival and outdoor special event for the Rockin' Moms Foundation. The event supports music and arts in the community and helps mothers achieve their goals. Rockin' The Park is an all ages, free music festival taking place at Oak Meadow Park in Los Gatos, CA on September 23rd 2007 from 12pm to 6pm. This event is outdoors at beautiful Oak Meadow Park, lawn and bandstand area. The festival will include; live music, silent auction, food, BBQ, kids zone, games, raffle, beer and wine tasting, massage, local artists and vendors.
Singer-Songwriter-Mom and founder of the Rockin' Moms organization, Tiffany Petrossi, is proud to be producing and performing in the event, for the second year. "We hope to encourage music appreciation in the community. We believe that music and the arts are a vital part of our culture and want to help continue to support local original music, musical education for our children and provide assistance to mothers who need both financial and community support to pursue their talents and well being. "
Admission is free to see nine great performances by local Bay Area/regional songwriters and bands. "We'll have Rockin' Moms, Rockin' Kids and Rockin' Dads, Rockin' the Park!" Petrossi exclaims. We feel that our musical line-up represents a cross-section of talent and will appeal to all age groups." We wanted to create a festival where both parents and their children can enjoy this event.
A great line-up of talent featuring original music from 12-6 PM that will leave the audience wanting more! A Rockin' Line up with the sweet sounds of Bay Area local, Singer-Songwriter and founder of Rockin' Moms will get you moving with the Tiffany Petrossi Band, come listen to the mighty vocal harmonies of husband & wife team, Judge & Lauren Murphy of Lansdale Station, see local fav, featured on KFOG's local scene, pop/ rock songstress, Stacy Kray, get blown away by the voice of the European folk sound and romantic ballads from, Rosanna D' Agnillo, witness and enjoy one of the San Francisco Bay Area's most well-known performance groups, Belly Dancing Tribe, get up and groove to rocken ragas, eclectic sounds with sitars and percussion from, Fountain's M.U.S.E., be inspired by a middle school rock band, back by popular demand, Jackie Rocks, witness the powerful voice and soulful songs of Mitchelle Tanner and be touched with the grace of songwriter, Denise Bridges and finally an appearance by Special guest Rockin' Mom and radio personality Marla Davies, from 106.5's KEZR morning show. Open lawn seating, so bring a blanket and chairs and enjoy the show!
