London-Based BlueOptima, Ltd. Announces "Offshoring Hotseat" Podcasts

The series, entitled "Sitting in the Offshoring Hotseat," is designed for program or project managers responsible for sizable offshore software development efforts, especially in the telecommunications and financial services industries. The podcasts, promoted via banner advertising on selected websites and Google Adwords, will be released periodically beginning February 2008 and will cover a variety of perspectives on managing offshore software development projects including governance, program management, productivity, and metrics.
The first edition of the series is a 26-minute interview with Ernie Zibert, the EMEA Governance Manager for HP Service Strategic Outsourcing Group. Mr. Zibert has 15 years offshoring management experience with outsourcing practices in over 100 countries. The interview, entitled "Governance: The Secret to Successful Offshore Relationships," covers the key elements of getting value from offshore development efforts.
